From reading this article I learned that by constantly praising kids and telling them they're perfect you could be damaging them and leading to a fixed mindset, such a child won't be able to deal with criticism in the future. Instead, we should be teaching them to have a growth mindset and to be able to deal with both success and failure.

A fixed mindset believes that each person only has a set amount of intelligence but a growth mindset believes that you can get better and gain knowledge by hard work, practice and study.

This article talks about how to get over self-doubt and do things that you aren't confident doing, by doing things you're afraid of doing you'll grow your confidence.

1.You shouldn't compare yourself to others or you will see everything as a competition

2. Don't be a perfectionist or you'll overwork yourself.

3. Allow yourself to be vulnerable with others.

4. Have a growth mindset instead of a fixed mindset, understand that you can better yourself through hard work and practice.

5. Trust yourself, self-trust will eventually lead to self-confidence.
